Data Deletion
Last updated 16 September 2026
You can ask us to delete the information the Project Profile platform holds about you. This page explains how to ask, what gets deleted, and what we have to keep.
How to make a request
Email admin@projectprofile.agency with the subject Data deletion request, and tell us:
- The email address your information is held under.
- Whether you want everything deleted, or only a specific connected account or record.
We will confirm we have received it within 5 business days, and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will write to you when it is done. There is no charge.
We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act — usually by replying from the address the data is held under. That is to stop somebody else deleting your records.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your name, email address and contact details.
- Messages, comments and approvals you posted, and files you uploaded.
- Any connected Google, Microsoft or Xero account, and the tokens that granted us access.
- Notification and email delivery records that identify you.
Disconnecting an account yourself
You do not need to write to us to revoke a connected account. Sign in, open Settings → Integrations, and disconnect it. That removes our access immediately and deletes the stored tokens. You can also revoke our access from the provider's own security settings.
What we may have to keep, and why
A deletion request removes your personal information. Some records have to survive it, and it is fairer to say so than to discover it later:
- Financial records. Invoices and payment records are kept for seven years, as Australian tax law requires.
- The client's own business records. Where you used the platform on behalf of a client organisation, the work itself — the projects, approved artwork and campaign results — belongs to that organisation and stays with them. Your name is removed from it.
- Aggregate figures. Campaign reporting that counts results without identifying anyone is unaffected.
- Security logs. Kept briefly where we need them to investigate misuse, then deleted on the normal cycle.
If you enquired through one of our campaigns
If you are not a platform user but submitted an enquiry to a development or business we advertise for, your details were collected on that client's behalf and are held for them. Email us at the address above and we will delete them from our systems and pass your request to that client, who is the other party holding them.
